Biography
2007: Butler returned to competition as a junior and competed in five races, including a 47th-place finish at the Oneonta Airfield Invitational. She ran a season-best 5,000-meter time of 21:59 at Roberts Wesleyan’s Anderson Invitational.
2006: Butler did not compete as a sophomore.
2005: Butler competed in six races as a freshman, posting a season-best finish of 27th at Houghton’s Highlander Invitational in 22:04. She registered a season-best time of 21:31 at the Hamilton Invitational.
High School: A graduate of Penn Yan Academy, Butler was coached by Brian Tollor. She was Finger Lakes All-League Champion, a Scholar-Athlete, and earned the coach’s “Heart Award.” She also lettered in track & field.
Personal: A cinema and photography major, she is the daughter of Wayne and Marlene Butler.
