Biography
2007: Boardman ran in four events as a sophomore. She placed 34th at the Houghton Highlander Invitational and 40th at the Empire 8 Championship meet.
2006: Boardman competed in eight races as a freshman and was one of Ithaca’s top-seven finishers in each race. She recorded a season-best finish of ninth at Houghton’s Highlander Invitational and placed 17th at the Empire 8 Championship meet. Her season-best time of 24:00 at Lehigh’s Paul Short Invitational was the Bombers’ 20th fastest 6,000-meter course time since 2000.
High School: A 2006 graduate of John Jay High School, Boardman was coached by Robert Lee. She earned league championship, MVP and all-county accolades. Boardman also lettered in track & field.
Personal: A therapeutic recreation major, she is the daughter of James Emmett and Catherine Boboly Boardman.
