Biography

High School: A graduate of Lisbon Central High School, Akins was coached by John Casserly. She was Rookie of the Year, All-Northern First team twice and Second team once, MVP Captain, Section X team Champions and two-time runner up as an individual. She also lettered in indoor/outdoor track and field as well as softball.

Personal: A clinical exercise science major, she is the daughter of Scott and Susan Akins.
