Biography
2008: DeLong earned all-Empire 8 and all-state honors for the Bombers as a junior, and competed at the Atlantic Regional and NCAA Championships. Her time of 19:21 at the Empire 8 Championships was a career-best and earned her a 13th-place finish at the meet. DeLong placed 17th (20:13) at the NYSCTC meet, 47th (24:53) at regionals and 269th (24:21) at the national championships.
2007: DeLong ran at five meets in 2007, with a top-seven performance at Roberts Wesleyan. She ran a season-best 21:34 at Hamilton.
2006: DeLong competed in six races as a freshman. She posted a season-best finish of 25th at Hamilton with a season-best time of 20:28. DeLong was one of Ithaca's top-seven finishers at Le Moyne.
High School: A 2006 graduate of Dansville High School, DeLong participated in the NYSPHSAA Championship. She was named an LCAA all-star and won MVP honors her final two seasons. DeLong also lettered in indoor track and outdoor track.
Personal: A journalism major, she is the daughter of Marty and Lisa DeLong. She is also a member of Ithaca's track & field team.
