Biography
2008: Hastings had four top-20 finishes in six races as a junior. She placed a career-best 10th in the season-opening race at Oneonta with a time of 18:48. At the Empire 8 Championships Hastings ran 19:28--a career-best at five kilometers--to place 18th overall.
2007: Hastings ran in six races, with an 18th place finish at the Empire 8 championship. She ran a season-best 19:31 at the conference meet.
2006: Hastings competed in six races as a freshman and recorded a season-best time of 20:36 at Hamilton. Her top finish of the season came at Le Moyne, where she placed 22nd overall.
High School: A 2006 graduate of Mercy High School, Hastings was coached by John Hastings. She was named to the all-Quinnipiac team two years in a row. Hastings also lettered in indoor track and outdoor track.
Personal: A physical therapy major, she is the daughter of Kevin and Kathleen Hastings. She is also a member of Ithaca's track & field team.
