Ithaca College Athletics

2008: Boccio was one of Ithaca's top seven runners in all ten of her races, and placed in the top-10 at Oneonta, at Misericordia and at the Empire 8 Championships. Her eighth-place finish at the latter earned her second-team all-conference honors for the third straight season. Her time of 19:01 at the meet was a season-best at five kilometers. Boccio placed 60th (25:08) at the Atlantic Regional Championships and 217th at the NCAA Championships (23:28.78).

2007: Boccio ran in nine races as a sophomore, recording four top-20 finishes. She was one of Ithaca’s top-six finishers in all of her races. She earned second-team all-conference status after placing eighth in the Empire 8 Championship. Boccio ran a career-best time of 18:51 at the NYSCTC Championship, placing 26th. Her time of 23:20 at the NCAA Regional is the 13th-fastest 6,000-meter time by an Ithaca runner since 2000. Boccio also competed at the NCAA Championship, placing 174th. 

2006: Boccio was one of Ithaca’s top-seven finishers in eight of the nine races she competed in as a freshman. She recorded three top-15 finishes, including a season-best 11th-place showing at Houghton’s Highlander Invitational, and placed 14th at the Empire 8 Championship meet. 

High School: A 2006 graduate of Guilderland High School, Boccio was coached by Dave Kosier. While on the cross country team she received MVP and coaches award honors, two varsity letters, and was named a scholar-athlete. She also lettered in indoor track and outdoor track.

Personal: An exercise science/athletic training major, she is the daughter of John and Deborah Boccio. She is also a member of Ithaca's track & field team.
