Ithaca College Athletics

Sharon Mullins, a member of the Bomber coaching staff since 2004, coaches hitting and works with the infielders and catchers. Mullins was a member of the 2005 NFCA Northeast Region Coaching Staff of the Year.

Mullins is currently in her 18th year as a physical education teacher in the Newark Valley Central School District, where she has also served as varsity coach. She played 10 years in the Amateur Softball Association (ASA) for the Waterford Mariners.

Mullins is a 1984 graduate of Central Connecticut State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in physical education. She went on to receive her master’s degree in physical education from Ithaca and served as the graduate assistant coach for the Bombers in 1986. Mullins also played two years of softball at the University of Connecticut and served as the Huskies’ assistant softball coach in 1985.
