May is entering her first year at Ithaca and will work with the teams’ infielders. She was a four-year starter at shortstop at Cornell, where she set 20 school records and led the Big Red to the 2004 Ivy League title and a trip to the College World Series.
 
A four-time all-conference selection, May was named the Ivy League Player of the Year in 2004 and 2005 after earning Rookie of the Year honors in 2002. She was named a third-team NFCA All-American in 2004 and was a three-time NFCA first-team all-region selection. May was also named the 2005 ECAC Player of the Year and was an ECAC all-star selection in 2004 and 2005.
 
May graduated from Cornell in 2005 with a bacheslor's degree in psychology and is pursuing her masters in sport management at Ithaca.
