Emily Stanley is in her second year with the Bomber softball program in 2011 and her first as an assistant coach. Stanley is pursuing a master's degree in exercise and sport science with a concentration in sport psychology. She worked with the 2010 Ithaca softball team through Ithaca's performance consulting program where she attended practices, meetings and games and took an active role with the team's leadership council.
Stanley was a four-year varsity softball player as an undergraduate at SUNY Purchase, and was a three-year captain. She earned all-conference honors at third base, second base and utility and she played every inning of every game during her four-year career. She graduated in 2009 with a bachelor's degree in psychology.
