Ithaca College Athletics

2010-11: Hamilton earned all-state honors twice as a junior placing fifth in the weight throw and third in the hammer. Indoors he recorded season-best marks of 11.04 meters in the shot put and a team-best 15.23 meters in the weight throw. Outdoors his season-best distances were 12.18 meters in the shot, 35.93 meters in the discus and a team-best 49.27 meters in the hammer.

2009-10: During the indoor season of his sophomore year, Hamilton threw a season-best 11.70 meters in the weight at the Kane Invitational hosted by Cornell. Outdoors, he earned All-NYSCTC accolades with a fifth-place finish in the hammer, while tallying a season-best mark of 46.61 meters in the same event at the Ithaca Open.

2008-09: Was a member of Ithaca's football team.

High School: A 2008 graduate of Ithaca High School, Hamilton was a four-year member of both the track & field and football teams. A sprinter, he twice earned all-conference accolades and was a New York state scholar athlete award winner on three occasions. Playing at both the line backer and wide receiver positions, Hamilton was also awarded Defensive Player of the Year honors.

Personal: An integrated marketing and communications major, he is the son of Laura Hamilton.
