Biography
2009-10: During the indoor season of his junior year, Davis competed in a pair of events recording season-best times of 8:56.38 in the 3,000-meter run and 15:54.29 in the 5,000. Outdoors Davis ran in three distance races: the 5,000, 10,000 and 3,000 steeplechase. He earned All-NYSCTC honors in the steeple with a season-best performance of 9:47.87. He recorded season-bests of 15:42.17 in the 5K and 34:10.25 in the 10K.
2008-09: Davis ran 16:21.91 to place eighth in the 5,000-meter run at the Empire 8 Championships. Outdoors, he ran 16:11.66 in the event to place third at the Ithaca Invitational. He was the Bombers top finisher in the 5K at their home meet.
2007-08: Davis competed twice as a freshman, finishing 13th in the 5,000-meter run at the Indoor Empire 8 Championships and 20th in the 3,000 run at Cornell’s Kane Invitational.
High School: Davis is a 2007 graduate of Salem High School.
Personal: An environmental studies major, he is the son of Jack and Alyce Davis. He is also a member of the cross country team and earned Empire 8 Runner of the Meet accolades after winning the 2010 Empire 8 eight-kilometer championship in 25:48.
