High School: Dombek graduated from Vergennes High School where he earned one varsity letter under head coach Jeff Kauffman. He earned a spot in the New England Qualifiers in 2015 in the 4x100 relay and 200 meter race. Dombek was the Division II State Champion in the 4x100 relay in his senior season. He also earned one varsity letter in soccer and basketball.
Personal: Jake, son of Andrew Dombek and Kristina Mackulin, is an exploratory student.
