Biography
2009-10: Kelley competed in three of the four throwing events during the outdoor season of his freshman year. He was the Empire 8 runner-up in the discus and earned All-NYSCTC accolades in the same event. Kelley tallied season-best performances of 10.95 meters in the shot, 28.11 meters in the javelin and 38.64 meters in the discus.
High School: Kelley earned six varsity letters on the Oneonta Yellow Jacket indoor and outdoor track & field teams. A shot putter, discus thrower and an indoor high jumper, he also played four years of football. Kelley was the 2008 recipient of the Herb Burchell Award.
Personal: A computer science major, he is the son of Stephen and Melinda Kelley. He is also a member of Ithaca's football team.
