Biography
2010-11: Alderman competed in the high jump during both the indoor and outdoor seasons of his sophomore year. He cleared an indoor-best 1.73 meters and an outdoor-best 1.77 meters in the event.
2009-10: During the indoor season of his freshman year, Alderman competed in a pair of meets and recorded a season-best clear of 1.77 meters in the high jump at the Empire 8 Championships. During the outdoor season, Alderman recorded a season best of 1.73 meters in the high jump at the Ithaca Open.
High School: A 2009 graduate of Ithaca High School, Alderman was coached by Dan Fravil. He earned four varsity letters in track & field and was also a member of the soccer team.
Personal: An athletic training major, he is the son of Mark and Gayle Alderman. His sisters Kelsey and Brianne are Ithaca alumna.
