2009-10: During the indoor season of his freshman year, Parlett competed in three individual events and a pair of relays. He set season-best times of 1:14.41 in the 500-meter run, 1:30.11 in the 600 run and 2:13.00 in the 800, while helping the Bombers to a 3:57.41 1,600-relay finish and an 8:27.58 time in the 3,200 relay. He did not compete during the outdoor season.

High School: A 2009 graduate of Newfield High School, Parlett earned four varsity letters in track & field. He holds Newfield High records in the 800-meter run and 1,600 and 3,200 relays. He also lettered in cross country.

Personal: An athletic training major with a sport psychology minor, he is the son of Robert and Linda Parlett.
