Biography
2009-10: During the indoor season of his junior year, Stahlmann earned All-ECAC and All-NYSCTC honors in the high jump. Having competed in three events during the indoor season, he set season-bests of 1.94 meters in the high jump, 12.11 meters in the triple jump and finished the 200-meter dash in 24.14. Outdoors, Stahlmann was the Empire 8 high jump champion and earned All-NYSCTC accolades in the same event with a fifth-place finish. He recorded a season-best clear of 1.93 meters in the high jump and tallied a season-best triple jump mark of 11.39 meters.
2008-09: Stahlmann was Empire 8 runner-up in the high jump during both the indoor and outdoor seasons. Indoors he cleared 1.87 meters and outdoors he cleared 1.98 meters. He was also an all-state performer in the event during both seasons, placing third at the indoor and outdoor state meets. Stahlmann added All-ECAC honors in the spring, placing sixth at the championship meet.
2007-08: Stahlmann was the Empire 8 champion in the high jump during the outdoor season, and tied for third in the event at the indoor championships. Stahlmann also earned all-state status by placing third in the high jump at the NYSCTC Outdoor Championships. He also qualified for the outdoor ECAC Championship, placing 11th.
High School: Stahlmann was a four-year letterwinner in outdoor track & field for coach Gus Lawson at Goshen High School. He served as team captain his senior year and finished second in the high jump at the Section IX Class A championship meet in 2007. Stahlmann also earned two letters in indoor track & field.
Personal: A legal studies major, he is the son of Wayne and Donna Stahlmann.
