Biography
2010-11: Maley earned All-NYSCTC honors as a sophomore for his second-place finish in the indoor long jump. He had season-best indoor performances of 6.71 in the 55-meter dash, 7.25 in the 60 and 6.62 meters in the long jump, while finishing the outdoor season with a 43.36 4x100, an 11.27 100 and a 6.69-meter long jump performance.
2009-10: During the indoor season of his freshman year, Maley competed in a pair of sprints and jumping events. The Empire 8 long jump runner-up, Maley qualified for the ECAC Indoor Championships with a season-best leap of 6.80 meters, while also tallying a season-best of 12.98 meters in the triple jump. Maley ran 6.81 in the 55-meter dash and 7.40 in the 60 dash during the indoor season. Outdoors, Maley placed fifth at the state meet in the long jump with a season-best performance of 6.37 meters to earn All-NYSCTC honors.
High School: A 2009 graduate of Ithaca high School, Maley was coached by Dan Fravil. He earned four varsity letters in track & field.
Personal: A health science major, he is the son of David and Mary Maley. His mother and brother are Ithaca College graduates.
