2010-11: McConville ranked second on the team indoors with times of 8:54.47 and 15:40.54 in the 3,000- and 5,000-meter runs, respectively. He also competed in the 5K and 10K outdoors clocking times of 15:54.09 and 33:38.37.
2009-10: During the indoor season of his junior year, McConville competed in a pair of events setting season-bests of 9:11.79 in the 3,000-meter run and 16:02.76 in the 5,000 run. During the outdoor season, McConville competed in the distance events. He recorded season bests of 16:29.72 in the 5,000 run and 35:02.31 in the 10,000 run.
2008-09: McConville earned all-state honors as a member of the 3,200-meter relay team that placed fourth at the indoor NYSCTC meet. That group ran 8:11.96. Individually, McConville ran 16:23.91 to place ninth in the 5,000 run at the Empire 8 Championships. Outdoors, McConville competed in the 800 and 1,500 runs at the Empire 8 meet, placing eighth in the 1,500 and 12th in the 800. He also qualified for the state meet in the 10,000 run, placing 18th overall.
2007-08: McConville placed eighth in the 1,500-meter run at the Empire 8 Outdoor Championships and 13th in the mile run at the indoor conference meet. He had three other top-20 finishes as a freshman: 11th in the 1,500 at the Ithaca Invitational, 13th in the 1,000 at the Deneault Invitational and 18th in the 1,000 at the Kane Invitational.
High School: McConville is a 2007 graduate of Haldane High School.
