Yousuf Eltagouri

Biography

2014-15: Eltagouri competed in the freestyle, breaststroke and relays during his freshman season. His best individual finish was in the 200-yard breaststroke against Rochester. He finished fifth with a time of 2:22.56. 

High School: Eltagouri is a graduate of St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute where he earned varsity letters in swimming. He was runner-up in the 100-yard breaststroke at the MMAA All-Catholic Championships, and was an honor roll selection in 2014. Eltagouri also swam for the Grand Island Swim Club under Phil Ciraolo for nine seasons. He is a member of the Libyan national swim team.

Personal: Yousuf is a politics major and is the son of Hess Eltagouri and Amira Elbouri.
