Biography
2009: Davis earned second-team all-state honors with a 12th-place finish at the NYSCTC Championship with a time of 26:53. He placed seventh at the Empire 8 Championship in 26:42, earning first-team Empire all-star recognition.
2008: Davis ran in seven races as a freshman, garnering top-20 finishes in three of them. He was one of the Bombers' top seven finishers at Misericordia, where he placed a season-best eighth with a time of 27:27. Davis set a new career-best by running 26:32 at Lehigh's Paul Short Invitational. He placed 15th at the Empire 8 Championships.
2007: Davis ran in eight races as a freshman, with five top-seven performances for the Bombers, with three top-25 overall finishes. His career-best time came at the NYSCTC meet, where he ran 27:02.
High School: A 2007 graduate of Salem High School, Davis was coached by Mike Eon. He earned three varsity letters as a member of the cross country team and was inducted into the school's cross country hall of fame his senior year. Davis was named team MVP his junior and senior years and was named a conference all-star as a senior. Davis also lettered as a member of the indoor and outdoor track & field teams.
Personal: An environmental studies major, he is the son of Jack and Alyce Davis.
