Biography
2011: Brower competed in six races as a senior. He recorded season-best times of 27:55.72 in the 8,000-meter run and 29:04.00 in the 5.2-mile run. Brower was named to the Empire 8 Presidents’ List for Fall 2011.
2010: Brower ran in five races during his junior season. He ran to a 22:20.60 finish at Cortland’s Jack Daniels Invitational 6,000-meter run, while clocking a time of 27:52 in the 8,000 run at the NYSCTC Championships. Brower was named to the Spring 2011 Empire 8 President’s List.
2009: Competing five times in his freshman season, Brower had his top finish at the Oswego Invitational where he placed 18th in a time of 21:00.
2008: Brower competed six times as a freshman, and was twice one of Ithaca's top seven runners. He led the way for the Bombers at Cornell's John Reif Invitational, placing 22nd with a time of 29:24. At Houghton he ran a season-best 27:59 to place 16th overall.
High School: A 2008 graduate of Downers Grove North High School, Brower earned two varsity letters in cross country. He also lettered in track and field.
Personal: A creative writing major, he is the son of William and Connie Brower.
