Mott was a key rower in the Men’s Second Varsity Eight and the Men’s Varsity Four where he contributed to a First-Place Finish in the Petite Final at the NIRC Championship (5/11)... A Sixth-Place Finish at the New York State Championship Regatta (5/5)...

2016-17
Mott returned for his sophomore campaign to compete in the Men’s Second Varsity Eight where he contributed to a first-place finish in the Men’s Open Weight Four at the New York State Championship (5/6)... A second-place finish at the Frostbite Regatta in the Men’s Second Varsity Eight (11/13)... followed by a second-place finish the next day at the Braxton Memorial Regatta in the Men’s Second Varsity Eight and the Men’s Varsity Four (11/14)... And contributed to a first-place finish at the Challenge on the Canal (10/1)...

2015-16
Mott kicked off his Bomber debuit in the Men’s Novice Eight and the Men’s Second Varsity Eight. He was stroke seat of the Men’s Second Varsity Eight that came in Third-Place at the New York State Championship (4/30)...

High School
Mott graduated from Worcester Technical High School where he earned a varsity letter in swimming, and rowing. He raced at sectionals all four years for distance swimming. Mott began his rowing career at WHPS where he was coached by Richard Stavros. During his prep career he medaled twice at NSRA in the double and the quad.
