Biography

2010: LaPointe rowed in the sixth seat of Ithaca's varsity 8, helping the boat to a gold medal at the state championships, silver medal at the ECAC championships and fifth place finish at the NCAA championships grand final.

2009: LaPointe rowed in the third seat of Ithaca's varsity 8, helping the boat to a gold medal at the state championships and a fourth-place finish at the NCAA Championships grand final.

2008: LaPointe rowed in the fifth seat of Ithaca's varsity 8.

High School: A 2007 graduate of Lowell High School, LaPointe was coached by Jen Campbell Bauer and Kendra Bauer. She was a three-time MVP.

Personal: An English and writing major, she is the daughter of Marcel LaPointe and Linda Barnum.
