Biography

2003-05: Bartels earned three varsity letters as a member of the softball team at Concordia University (Ore.) for coach Carrie Kosderka-Farrell.

High School: Bartels was a four-year letter winner at Skyview High School for coach Dale Ogden. She helped lead the team to the 2001 state championship and was a two-time all-league selection. bartels was also a member of the volleyball team.

Personal: A health education and physical education major, she is the daughter of Dale and Susan Bartels.
