Biography
2003-04: Russell posted career-best times in the 100-yard freestyle (58.51) and 100-yard butterfly (1:08.31) as an exhibition swimmer at the conference and state meets. She swam a career-best time of 5:56.90 in the 500-yard freestyle vs. William Smith.
2002-03: Russell swam in three events as an exhibition swimmer at the state meet, with times of 27.58 in the 50-yard freestyle, 1:00.27 in the 100-yard freestyle and 1:09.05 in the 100-yard butterfly. She finished third in the 200-yard freestyle with a season-best time of 2:14.33 against Union.
High School: Russell was a four-year letter winner for coach Kelly Ross at Brick Township High School. She also lettered in cross country and track and field.
Personal: A health and physical education major, she is the daughter of Charles and Susan Russell.
