WALKING FOR VINCENT — SEPTEMBER 26 

On September 26, Ithaca College Track & Field will walk in honor of someone who became a very special part of our Bomber family — Vincent Kerper.

Vincent was recruited to Ithaca College and committed to become a Bomber in the spring of 2025. Shortly after making that commitment, Vincent was diagnosed with cancer. During his fight, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital became home to Vincent and his family. It was a place where he received care, support, hope, and love while facing something no young person should ever have to face. Sadly, Vincent passed away in July 2026.

Although Vincent never had the opportunity to take the track wearing the Bomber uniform, he was — and always will be — part of our team. His courage, his fight, and the impact he made on the people around him will not be forgotten.

On September 26, we will walk for Vincent, for his family, for all the children and families at St. Jude, and for a future where no child has to face cancer alone.
