ITHACA, N.Y. – On Tuesday, April 21, the Ithaca College men's and women's track & field teams will host the first-ever meet at the brand new Egan Family Track & Field Complex. Throwing events will begin at 1 p.m. with running events starting at 3 p.m. The new complex is located at the former Yavitz Field, directly across the road from the Park School of Communications.
The javelin will be held in the infield of the track complex, while the remaining throws will be held a short walk away behind Emerson Hall on the east side of campus.
Tuesday's meet will mark the first time that Ithaca College track & field has hosted a meet on campus since April 26, 2016. IC previously competed at Butterfield Stadium, but that track was removed in 2023 for the construction of Bertino Field.
The Bombers will hold another home meet on May 9.
