Men's Track & Field Rookie of the Week – Griffin Lupes

Griffin Lupes won the 5000-meter run in a time of 15:38.48, which was eight seconds faster than the runner-up, at the Cornell Kane Invitational on Saturday.

HONOR ROLL

Junior forward Grace McNamara continued her strong form this past week as she averaged 16 ppg, while totaling 10 boards across the weekend. McNamara went a perfect 9-for-9 from the field and poured in a game-high 20 points in the 70-49 victory over Bard. In a loss at RPI, McNamara again was the Bombers leading scorer with 12 points, including 1-of-2 from downtown and grabbed a team-high six rebounds.

Alys Pop began her spring season in dominant fashion as on Friday she defeated Drew University's Riley Roesel by set scores of 6-1, 6-0. The next day she faced off a tough opponent in TCNJ's Eleni Dakos as they went back and forth before Pop eventually fell 5-7, 3-6. 

Matthew Zenker totaled 37 points on 13-of-25 shooting with 11 rebounds and five assists in a 1-1 week for Ithaca. Zenker started off with 24 points as he went 8-for-15 from the field, including 4-of-8 from 3-point range, with six rebounds and four assists in a 91-74 win at Bard. He finished with 13 points and five rebounds in a loss at RPI.

Erin Eastwood moved up the performance list in the pole vault as she cleared 3.77 meters to place third at Cornell's Kane Invitational on Saturday, and now ranks 20th in Division III.

Rachel Larson placed fourth in the 60-meter hurdles in 8.65 seconds as she was the only Division III entry to qualify for the final at the Boston Valentine Invitational on Saturday.
