ITHACA, N.Y. – The Ithaca College women's wrestling team hosted Nassau Community College and Wilkes University for a Round Robin on Friday evening as they wrestled simultaneously with the IC men's wrestling program who would go on to defeat Wilkes University in a dual.
 
The first matchup of the night was at 124 lbs. where Delaney Bisaillon was able to make easy work of Wilkes' Haylee Robinson, winning in a 14-4 tech fall. Ithaca would then see an 11-0 tech fall from Melina Georgas over Nassau Community College's Giselle Bonilla. Georgas would also go on to defeat Milly Hughes (Wilkes) in the final bout of the evening, in what turned out to be a back and forth affair that Georgas won in a 11-9 decision.
 
At 117, Arianna Leo faced a tough opponent in Wilkes' Grace Riley who defeated the IC grappler in a 11-0 tech fall. Delaney Bisaillon improved to 2-0 on the day and scored a dominant 10-0 tech fall over the Colonels Abbigale Bowman. Sophia Torian would also record a victory as she defeated Haylee Robinson in a 6-3 decision at 124.
 
Friday's Round Robin served as the final tuneup for the Bombers before they compete in the NCAA Region II Tournament in the LECOM Events Center in Elmira, N.Y. from Feb. 20-21.
