SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – The Ithaca College golf team won its third consecutive event of the 2025-26 season as the Bombers took first out of five schools at the Union Fall Invitational at Mohawk Golf Course on September 20-21.
Ithaca posted a two-round total of 673 (+89) as the Bombers shot 337 on Saturday and 336 on Sunday. Union was the runner-up with 682, while Cortland came in third with 699. St. Lawrence and Vassar rounded out the competition with 730 and 783.
IC's four scoring golfers finished within two strokes of each other as
Abby Bladen tied for fourth overall and
Annelise Stencel took sixth.
Helena Winterberg and
Brianna Morrison tied for seventh.
Bladen carded a two-day total of 167 (+21) with rounds of 83 and 84, while Stencel was a stroke back at 168 with an 85 and 83. Winterberg and Morrison both shot 169 (+23) with 85-84 and 84-85.
Bladen was consistent throughout the weekend with 14 pars and two birdies, while Stencel fired three birdies on Sunday. Morrison had six total birdies over the weekend with four coming on Sunday and Winterberg posted five birdies overall.
Jada Segall golfed as an individual and finished 23rd overall with 227.
Ithaca is back in action next weekend at the Williams College Invitational in Williamstown, Mass. on September 27-28.
