Registration Open for Hall of Fame Ceremony on October 24

Registration for the 55th Hall of Fame class, which will be inducted on Friday, October 24, 2025, is now open. The induction ceremony will begin at 5:30 p.m. in Emerson Suites, the night prior to IC's home football game against Union College.

The newest class features eight highly successful individuals.

JANE DEGRENIER '86 – FIELD HOCKEY/WOMEN'S LACROSSE

A two-sport athlete in field hockey and lacrosse, Jane DeGrenier was a four-year starter for field hockey and a member of the 1982 national championship team and she appeared in more than 50 games in lacrosse.

DeGrenier still ranks sixth all-time in career assists with 27 as she played in 77 contests under legendary head coach Doris Kostrinsky and led the team in assists in each of her final two seasons. She was also mentored by another hall of fame coach during the lacrosse season in Andrea Golden and was tops in the program in defensive categories.

Following graduation, DeGrenier played field hockey competitively for more than 25 years and has been a successful coach at numerous levels, accumulating more than 250 victories.

CARL GRAETZ '90 – BASEBALL

Carl Graetz was a three-year member of the Ithaca College baseball team and was a ABCA Second Team All-American in 1990. During the national championship season in 1988, Graetz earned three saves in IC's four victories en route to the program's second national title.

Graetz appeared in 40 games during his career on South Hill and amassed an overall record of 17-5 with a 2.99 ERA. In his All-American senior season, he ranked second in Division III with a 10-1 record.

Upon his graduation, he was second all-time on the single season wins list and was the program leader in saves. Thirty-five years later, Graetz still ranks within the top eight in both categories.

JON HEISMAN '80 – MEN'S LACROSSE

Jon Heisman was an All-American defenseman for the Ithaca College men's lacrosse program during one of the best stretches in program history. In his final three years with the team, 1978 to 1980, Ithaca reached the NCAA Tournament all three years and compiled 34 victories. Heisman was a captain during all three of those years.

He was named All-ECAC all four years on South Hill and was a USILA Second Team All-American as a senior in 1980.

Heisman would go on to have a distinguished coaching career as he is the all-time winningest boy's high school coach in Pennsylvania with more than 530 victories. In 2024, Heisman was inducted into the National Interscholastic Lacrosse Coaches Association Hall of Fame.

PAT LEMMO '13 – BASEBALL

Pat Lemmo was one of the most consistent and durable pitchers for the Ithaca College baseball program during his career from 2010-2013. Lemmo went 25-4 in 31 career starts with a 2.21 ERA and 178 strikeouts in 252 innings pitched.

He was a two-time Empire 8 Pitcher of the Year and a consensus First Team All-American by ABCA and D3baseball.com in 2013. During the 2013 season, in which Ithaca set a school record with 40 wins and finished third in the country, Lemmo went 12-2 with a 1.76 ERA in 112.1 innings pitched.

Lemmo is the school recorder holder in single season innings pitched and wins, ranks third in career ERA, sixth in career wins and seventh in career innings.

EMILIA SCHEEMAKER '15 – WOMEN'S TRACK & FIELD

Emilia Scheemaker is the only triple jump All-American in the history of the Ithaca College women's track & field program and earned four All-America honors during her career from 2012-15. Scheemaker owns both school records for indoor – 12.25 meters – and outdoor – 12.19 meters.

In 2014, she finished fifth at the NCAA Division III Indoor Championships and eighth at the outdoor national meet. The next season, she was fifth at outdoors, where she set the school record, and placed eighth during indoors.

Throughout her career, Scheemaker was an eight-time Empire 8 champion and set a meet record in 2014, a two-time Empire 8 Indoor Field Athlete of the Meet and the 2014 Empire 8 Outdoor Field Athlete of the Year.
 
VICKI SCOTT '82 – SOFTBALL


Vicki Scott was one of the first dominant pitchers in the storied history of Ithaca College softball from 1979-82 under head coach Doris Kostrinsky.

Scott tossed the program's first no-hitter on April 7, 1980 against Binghamton and made 49 appearances in her career with 31 wins. That season, she set school records in lowest ERA at 0.63 and walks with five.

She is also the school recorder holder in fewest career walks with 26, hits allowed with 151 and owns the record for most innings pitched in a game with 19.

During her senior season in 1982, Ithaca set a program mark with 25 victories as the Bombers won the EAIAW Northeast Regional.

JEREMY STIERLY '12 – WRESTLING

Jeremy Stierly is just one of two wrestlers in program history to reach the NCAA Division III title match in three different seasons. Stierly was the 2012 national champion at 149 points and the national runner-up in 2010 and 2011 at 141 pounds.

Despite wrestling in just 13 matches in 2012, Jeremy Stierly was the NCAA Division III national champion and finished the season with a 12-1 record. He was seeded fourth in the championship and won all four matches at the national meet.

During his two national runner-up appearances, Stierly posted a combined record of 57-8, losing just two matches in 2011, and finished his career with an overall record of 91-18. He was also a three-time CoSIDA Academic All-American.

BLAINE WOSZCZAK '11 – WRESTLING

Blaine Woszczak is the Ithaca College wrestling program's all-time leader in victories with 137. Woszczak, who competed from 2008-11, was a three-time All-American, the ECWC Rookie of the Year in 2008 and the ECWC Wrestler of the Year in 2011.

Woszczak won 30 or more matches in all four seasons on South Hill, including 38 as a junior to post the second-most victories in a season. He was also the first Bomber to amass 100 wins within three years of competition. Woszczak, who earned back-to-back wild card selections to the NCAA Division III Championship, finished fourth in all three of his trips to the national meet.
