ITHACA, N.Y. – Two standout members of the Ithaca College men's tennis team have been recognized for their outstanding performances during the 2024–25 season, earning All-Liberty League honors, as announced on Monday.
First year
Ivan Kisic was named to the Second Team All-Liberty League, while sophomore
Emiliano Pedrero earned Honorable Mention recognition.
Kisic made an immediate impact in his debut season, primarily holding down the No. 3 singles spot. He compiled an impressive 12-4 overall record, including a 2-1 mark at No. 2 singles, and closed out the season on a seven-match winning streak. Kisic was also named Liberty League Rookie of the Week three times (Sept. 9, Mar. 17, and Apr. 28).
Pedrero also delivered a strong campaign, finishing with an 8-3 overall singles record, including 5-3 in Liberty League play. Competing mostly at No. 5 singles (7-3 record), he showed resilience by winning four three-set matches and ended the season on a two-match win streak.
As a team, Ithaca finished the season with a 6-10 overall record and 4-4 in Liberty League play, narrowly falling to RIT in a tight 4-3 quarterfinal matchup in the Liberty League Championships.
