ITHACA, N.Y. – Four Ithaca College tennis players were honored as College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® honorees.
Sabrina Cheung,
Taylor Crain,
Alys Pop represented the women's team, while
Siddharth Desai was recognized from the men's team.
The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Tennis Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Taylor Crain and
Sabrina Cheung earned an all-district honor for the second-straight year, while
Alys Pop and
Siddharth Desai were first-time selections.
To be nominated for College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA) Academic All-District honors, student-athletes must participate in at least 70 percent of their team's dual matches, maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher, and reach sophomore athletic and academic standing at the school. All Academic All-District honorees are considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America ballot.
