NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. – The IWLCA has honored 256 student-athletes in Division III with a selection to one of the All-Region teams for 2025. These student-athletes are now eligible to be named to a national IWLCA All-American team. The IWLCA will announce the 2024 IWLCA Division III All-American teams on May 23.
For Ithaca College, four members of the program were named to the All-Empire Region Teams.
Lily Cody was selected to the first team at midfield, while
Kaitlyn Russell,
Elizabeth Green and
Kelly Augeri were tabbed to the second team on defense and attack.
Cody led Ithaca in points scored this season with 79 on 55 goals and 24 assists in 21 games played. Seventeen of her goals came by way of free position, which was tops on the team, while her 119 draws also paced the team. She added 29 ground balls and 15 caused turnovers.
Russell also appeared in all 21 games on a defensive unit that held its opposition to 10 goals or fewer in nine games this season. Russell led the program 24 caused turnovers and was second overall with 37 ground balls.
Heading into this season, Green had 38 goals and 32 ground balls to her credit. Just this season alone, Green totaled 47 goals and eight assists for 55 points with 40 ground balls, 24 draws and 16 caused turnovers.
Augeri led the Bombers with 58 goals and was second with 77 points, to go along with 28 ground balls and 19 assists. Over the final 11 games of the season, Augeri notched 39 goals.
Ithaca went 14-7 on the season and won its second straight Liberty League title. The Bombers advanced to the second round of the NCAA Division III Championship after a 17-13 victory over Oswego in the opening round.
