GUILDERLAND, N.Y. – The Ithaca College golf team concluded its 2025 season at the Liberty League Championship this weekend, April 26-27, at Pinehaven Country Club and finished third out of seven schools. Ithaca finished the weekend with a two-day total of 651 (+75) after rounds of 326 and 325.
No. 6 Wellesley won the Liberty League title with 612 to top No. 9 New York University by six strokes. The Bombers edged out Union by four strokes, while Vassar placed fifth with 707 (+131). St. Lawrence and Willam Smith rounded out the championship in sixth and seventh place.
Wellesley's Audrey Wang claimed the individual title with 146 (+2), while her teammate Sarah Yeh was the runner-up with 152 (+8).
For Ithaca,
Helena Winterberg and
Rheanna DeCrow tied for 14th out of 34 golfers with 163 (+19). Winterberg fired a 79 during Saturday's round with two birdies and closed out the weekend with 84 on Sunday. DeCrow carded an 83 on Saturday and holed out one birdie and she shot 80 on Sunday.
Abby Bladen placed 16th overall with 164 (+20) with consistent rounds of 80 and 84. Bladen fired one birdie each round.
Annika Michel posted a 166 (+22) to come in 18th as she 84 on Saturday and 82 on Sunday, with one birdie.
Annelise Stencel finished in 20th with 168 (+24) with rounds of 89 and 79. Stencel produced the mod=st birdies over the weekend for Ithaca with four.
