BRIDGEWATER, Va. – The Ithaca College men's track & field team opened the outdoor season and the Jopson Invitational hosted by Bridgewater University on Friday and Saturday.

Luke Ellor was the runner-up in the shot put at 15.27 meters.

Tyler Duffin measured out 5.98 meters in the long jump to place third and Noah McKibben was seventh at 5.71 meters. Duffin also competed in the javelin and placed second at 51.50 meters and McKibben was fourth at 45.24 meters.

Elliott Painting placed fifth in the 5000-meter run in 16:20.08, while Matt Lokshin took sixth in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 15.75 seconds.

Lokshin also ran in the 400-meter hurdles and finished in fifth at 57.08 seconds and Joseph Napolitano followed in sixth at 58.54.

IC's 4x100-meter relay came in third overall in a time of 43.43 seconds.

Ithaca heads to Cortland next Saturday.
