ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The nationally ranked No. 22 Ithaca College women's track & field team secured three total All-America honors on Saturday at the NCAA Division III Track & Field Championships at the Golisano Training Center on the campus of Nazareth University as
Laura Suppa and
Rachel Larson both competed in the 60-meter hurdles final.
Suppa, who was in lane three, finished fourth overall with a time of 8.62 seconds, while Larson took sixth out of lane one in a time of 8.75 seconds. The duo earned eight points towards Ithaca's team total for the Bombers to finish in a tie for 29th place.
Madeleine Wright was also in competition this afternoon in the high jump, and she finished 14th overall to receive Second Team All-America honors from the USTFCCCA. Wright cleared 1.65 meters in the event, which was the top mark for four other entries, but she placed 14th due to attempts.
Ithaca has now earned 157 All-America honors across indoor and outdoor seasons. This trio raises IC's indoor total to 80 All-Americans dating back to 1986.
