Women’s Track & Field Honors Seniors at Bomber Invite

ITHACA, N.Y. –
The Ithaca College women's track & field team hosted its annual Bomber Invitational on February 1-2 inside Glazer Arena and honored its senior class prior to the start of the first day of competition on Saturday morning.

Aynisha McQuillar was the runner-up in the 60-meter dash after she ran a pair of races in 7.77 seconds. Marykate Rudnicki qualified for the final after an eighth place finish in the prelim and moved up to sixth in the final with a time of 7.99 seconds.

Laura Suppa took second in the 200-meter dash in a time of 26.12 and was the runner-up in the 60-meter hurdles in 8.84. Rachel Larson placed fourth in the 60 hurdles by crossing the finish in 8.87, while Ava Butler finished in seventh in the 200 at 26.60.

Madeleine Wright claimed the runner-up spot in the high jump with a clearance of 1.63 meters, while Joy Petersen posted a time of 5:16.37 in the mile to come in fourth place overall.

In the 4x400-meter relay, Natalie MacArthur, Rudnicki, Butler and McQuillar were third in 4:07.97 and the relay of Julia Ryba, Emily Johnson, Petersen and Jessica Goode took seventh with a time of 4:19.33.

Talia Hutchinson cleared 3.57 meters in the pole vault to come in fourth, while Erin Eastwood was sixth at 3.32 meters and Bree Boyle also cleared that height to finish in eighth.

Lily Seyfert secured fifth in the shot put at 12.71 meters and was sixth in the weight throw at 15.45 meters.

IC entered two relays into the 4x200 and finished in fifth and eight overall. The relay of Ryba, Claudia Chong, Tayla Hummel and Hannah Hoffman posted a time of 1:52.67, while Carolina Cedraschi, Elli Cloutier, Alyssa Laird and Harper O'Neill clocked in at 1:54.88.

Cecelia LaBonte was a seventh place performer in the pentathlon with a total of 3057 points, while Celia Ryan and Lydia Barber each cleared 1.58 meters in the high jump to finish in seventh and eighth place.
