Delaney Bisaillon went a perfect 3-0 at 117 pounds, earning first place in her weight class.
At 110 pounds,
Arianna Leo posted a strong 4-1 record, with all four victories coming by fall. After an early loss, Leo bounced back with a pin in 1:52 over Waynesburg's Faryn Dewitt. She carried that momentum into her next bout, earning another fall in just 1:10 against Clara Early (Bethany). Leo then pinned Karisma Washington (Buffalo State) in 1:04 and Ashley Campbell (Bethany) in 4:01 to close out her day.
Three first years competed at 117 pounds:
Angie Berry,
Delaney Bisaillon, and
Sophia Torian. Bisaillon's path to first place began with a 29-second fall over Waynesburg's Anastasia Curritti. She then pinned teammate Berry before capping her day with a 23-13 tech fall (5:45). Berry and Torian each finished 0-3.
Senior
Sammi Meyer opened her season at 131 pounds with a pin over Melanie Matherson (Waynesburg) in 2:55, followed by a 29-second fall against Heidelberg's Alexis Satterfield. After a loss, Meyer rebounded with a 23-second pin over Haylie Russano (Waynesburg) before dropping her final bout to finish 3-2.
In the 160-pound blue division,
Melina Georgas was dominant, going undefeated. She earned a fall over Heidi Gordon (Edinboro) in 2:35, followed by a tech fall in 3:15, and a win by forfeit in her final match.
No team scores were recorded at the event.
The Bombers return to the mats on Wednesday, November 12 when they host the Ithaca College Invite.
