ROME, N.Y. – The Ithaca College golf program wrapped up its fall season over the weekend, October 4-5, at the Hamilton Invitational at the Rome Country Club and finished second out of nine teams. Ithaca shot 312 (+24) on Saturday and 315 (+27) on Sunday for a two-round total of 627 (+51).

Hamilton's 'A' team was first with 609 (+33) and the 'B' team shot 623 (+47), but did not factor into team standings.

Helena Winterberg took second overall out of 51 golfers with 152 (+8) and was one shot back of the first place finisher. Winterberg carded a 75 (+3) on Saturday and followed up with 77 (+5) on Sunday. She fired four birdies over the weekend, two each day, and was just one over on the front nine.

Brianna Morrison tied for eighth with 155 (+11) as she went below 80 on both rounds with 79 and 76. Morrison carded six birdies on the weekend with five coming on the front nine.

Abbey Bladen and Annelise Stencel were tied with each other in 17th with identical rounds of 79 and 81 for 160 (+16). Bladen earned two birdies on the weekend, while Stencel had three.

Jada Segall was also in action, and she shot 218.

The Bombers will be back on the course during their Spring Break trip in March.
