Men's Soccer Rookie of the Week – Trevor Barrett
Trevor Barrett extended his scoring streak to three matches in a row this past week. After scoring goals against St. Lawrence and Union, the first year netted his first collegiate brace to power the Bombers to a 3-2 win over RIT.
Volleyball Performer of the Week – Naomi Clauhs
Naomi Clauhs delivered arguably her best weekend of the season, swinging at an impressive .382 clip while recording a combined 43 kills across two matches. She also contributed a block and three digs. In the five-set victory over William Smith, Clauhs tallied 20 kills, tying for the match-high. The junior outside hitter followed that performance with a season- and career-high 23 kills against William Paterson.
Women's Swimming & Diving – Swimmer of the Week – Kathleen Papiernik
Kathleen Papiernik delivered a strong performance to help power Ithaca to dual meet victories over William Smith and WPI. She placed second in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:33.81, then claimed first place in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2:19.26. Papiernik capped off her meet with another individual win in the 200-yard IM, narrowly out-touching WPI's Mallory Lapointe in a thrilling finish—posting a time of 2:15.10 to Lapointe's 2:15.24.
Men's Swimming & Diving – Swimmer of the Week – Ryan Cooke
Reigning Liberty League Swimmer of the Week
Ryan Cooke continued his standout form, improving on his 200-yard freestyle time from the previous week (1:45.63) to win the event with a time of 1:44.07—more than a second ahead of the field. He followed up with a victory in the 100-yard freestyle, posting a time of 47.48 to edge out WPI's Nolan Schlessman, who also swam a 47.48. Cooke capped off his dominant meet with a third individual win in the 500-yard freestyle, finishing in 4:49.12.
Men's Swimming & Diving – Diver of the Week – Kian Long
Kian Long produced a finals performance of 291.85 on the 3-meter boards to win the event over WPI's Thomas Fitzgerald (206.05). Long would then top the Engineer again on the 1-meter by over 50 points with his finals score of 252.40. With his combined performances from this week and last, Long has officially earned qualification to the NCAA Diving Regionals.
HONOR ROLL
First year
Addison Leadbetter continued her strong play against both (RV) William Smith and William Paterson. She totaled three blocks and eight kills against the Herons, then maintained her momentum against the Pioneers. Operating through the middle of the net, Leadbetter connected on 10 of 20 swing attempts and added three more blocks to her weekend totals.
Senior forward
Ava Detorie played a pivotal role in keeping Ithaca's Liberty League playoff hopes alive, netting her first collegiate brace, including the game-winning goal in a 2–1 victory over Clarkson University. Prior to this match, Detorie had scored just one goal in each of the 2023 and 2024 seasons.
First year
Charlotte Barton earned her first two individual collegiate victories as part of Ithaca's dual meet wins over WPI and William Smith. Barton impressed in the 50-yard freestyle, improving on her time from the previous week and leading the Bombers to a one-two finish. She posted a winning time of 25.14, just ahead of teammate
Emma Kidd's 25.31. Barton followed up with another standout swim in the 100-yard freestyle, clocking in at 54.57—more than a second faster than WPI's Mallory Lapointe (55.76).
