RESULTS
ROCHESTER, N.Y. - The Ithaca College men's track & field team finished sixth out of 10 schools with 54 points at the Nazareth Challenge Cup on Saturday. Ithaca and Rochester won the conference title with a combined 178 points.
IC took the top three positions in the 5000-meter run as
James Hughes won the race in 15:17.02, while
Drew Taylor was the runner-up at 15:42.68 and
Toag Wolf placed third in 15:49.35.
Connor Yacomeni won the high jump in a tie with a mark of 1.87 meters to earn 10 points for IC's total.
Ben Buffone was the runner-up in the mile with a time of 4:19.29 and placed eighth in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:58.87.
The Bombers' 4x200-meter relay of
Max Boreland,
Asa Crosdale,
Johnathan Wendt and
Damian Simmonds finished third in a time of 1:32.34.
Luke Ellor took fourth in the shot put with a heave of 14.35 meters.
Ithaca is back home next weekend for the annual Bomber Invitational on February 1-2.
