RESULTS
ITHACA, N.Y. – The Ithaca College women's track & field team hosted its first home meet of the season and won the quad against Cortland, Oneonta and TCNJ with 78 points inside Glazer Arena on Saturday.
Aynisha McQuillar clocked a time of 7.84 seconds in the 60-meter dash prelim for the top overall time and followed up with a 7.78 in the final to win the race.
Laura Suppa won the 60-meter hurdles in a finals time of 8.85 seconds after she clocked 8.90 in the prelim.
Rachel Larson ran the fastest time in the 60 hurdles with a prelim time of 8.81 and finished second in the final at 9.00. Larson also posted a prelim time of 8.14 seconds in the 60 dash to qualify in fourth, but she did not run in the final.
Lyla Powers and
Jessica Goode were the top two placements in the 800-meter run in times of 2:29.29 and 2:33.08. Goode also ran in the mile and won the event in 5:24.53.
Joy Petersen was another first place performer for IC as she won the 3000-meter run with a time of 10:46.66.
Kyla Eisman also competed in the event and finished in third at 11:03.18.
Madeleine Wright won the high jump at 1.58 meters, while
Cecelia LaBonte and
Celia Ryan tied for third at 1.48 meters, and
Lydia Barber was sixth at 1.48 meters.
Lily Seyfert won the shot put at 12.43 meters, while
Charlotte Powell was fifth at 10.91 meters.
Celia Ryan was the runner-up in the triple jump at 10.40 meters and
Grace Croft was third at 9.79 meters. Seyfert also placed third in the weight throw with a mark of 14.72 meters and
Enya Green finished in fifth at 13.80 meters. Powell also competed in the weight throw and was eighth at 13.43 meters.
Ithaca took six of the top eight spots in the pole vault on Saturday as
Talia Hutchinson won with a mark of 3.55 meters.
Erin Eastwood was the runner-up at 3.45 meters and
Bree Boyle finished in third with a clearance of 3.30 meters.
Abigail Reppert posted a mark of 3.00 meters to finish sixth, while Raessler cleared 2.85 meters to place eighth and
Teagan Kiger was eighth at 2.70 meters.
Carolina Cedraschi was the runner-up in the 500-meter dash in a time of 1:26.83, while
Elli Cloutier followed in third at 1:27.14 and
Alyssa Laird was fifth in 1:35.97. Cloutier was also the runner-up in the long jump with a mark of 5.11 meters and
Hannah Hoffman finished in sixth at 4.97 meters.
IC entered four teams in the 4x400-meter relay and three finished in the top eight.
Natalie MacArthur,
Marykate Rudnicki,
Ava Butler and McQuillar were the runners-up in 4:10.64.
Julia Ryba,
Emily Johnson,
Cameron Ting and Cedraschi were fifth in 4:17.11. Powers, Cloutier,
Harper O'Neill and
Tayla Hummel finished eighth in 4:34.24.
Rudnicki secured third in the 200-meter dash with a time of 26.87 seconds, while Butler was fourth in 27.01. Butler also placed sixth in the 60 dash in 8.20 seconds.
Ryba was a fourth place runner in the 400-meter dash in a time of 1:03.24, while MacArthur came in sixth in the 200 at 27.14.
Emily Johnson completed the 400 in 1:04.90 in come in seventh overall, while Maddie Sichack was another seventh place performer in the mile with a time of 5:35.21. LaBonte completed the 60 dash in 9.73 second to place seventh, while
Madison Buckley posted a time of 11:50.16 in the 3K to finish in eighth.
