6/1/2024 11:49:00 PM

WEST WINDSOR, N.J. – After earning their spot with a victory at the Liberty League Championships, the Ithaca College men's rowing team was back in action on Saturday in West Windsor, New Jersey for the 2024 IRA National Championship as the Bombers 1V8 competed in a petite final dual against the Milwaukee School of Engineering and the second varsity eight was in the grand final.

The Bombers would place first in their final race of the year with Ithaca finishing eleven seconds ahead of the boat from MSOE as IC recorded a time of 6:13.499. The IC lineup was led by coxswain Miles Kenaston, Rhys Pellaton, Riley Maynard, Wesley Hoglin, Griffin Hunt, James Ross, Bryce Williston, Max Detzer and Marshall Adams.

The 2V8 lineup was exactly the same as what it was on Friday with Caroline Grass, Caleb Grassi, Ethan Revis, Brodie Hart, Tynan Fields, Nolyn Boswell, Nico Greenberg, Jonah Alefantis and Maxwell Vallino rowing for Ithaca. The Bombers didn't get off to the best of starts as they trailed from start-to-finish ultimately finishing in sixth with a time of 6:19.720 as it was over 24 seconds slower than the winners from Tufts.
