TROY, N.Y. – The Ithaca College men's track & field team competed at the Liberty League Outdoor Championships at RPI over the weekend and finished sixth overall with 33 points. The host Engineers won the meet with 308.5 points.
The top eight finishers in each event earned points towards the team totals and competitors that placed within the top three were named All-Liberty League.
Nearly half of Ithaca's points came in the pole vault as
Dom Mikula was the champion with a clearance of 4.90 meters and
Brendan Sheehan took fourth at 4.60 meters.
James Hughes notched a time of 31:18.44 in the 10000-meter run for fifth place overall.
Joseph Napolitano posted a time of 57.63 seconds in the 400-meter hurdles to place fifth overall and Lokshin took sixth in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 16.10 seconds.
The 4x400-meter relay of
Adam Mocho, Lokshin,
CJ Jones and
George Nilson were sixth in a time of 3:26.48.
Patrick Bierach claimed seventh in the steeplechase in 9:58.80, while
Noah McKibben secured eighth in the decathlon with 4654 points. Jones posted an eighth place showing in the 200-meter dash with a time of 22.36 seconds.
