ITHACA, N.Y. – The Ithaca College men's rowing team was back in action on Saturday, April 6 as they competed on the Cayuga Inlet against both RIT and the University of Rochester. The Bombers had an outstanding day putting together several decent times despite the challenging weather and wind within the area. They raced 2,000 meter sprints against the Tigers and 'Jackets with the varsity-4 boats competing in a 750 meter race due to worsening conditions later in the day.
The Ithaca 1V lineup that consisted of
Miles Kenaston,
Rhys Pellaton,
Riley Maynard,
Bryce Williston,
James Ross,
Griffin Hunt,
Wesley Hoglin,
Caleb Grassi and
Max Detzer paced both Rochester and RIT from start-to-finish winning the race with a time of 6:47.6, compared to UR's 7:25.2 and RIT's 7:03.0.
It turned out to be competitive race for Ithaca's 2V as they competed against RIT's 2V and 3V, beating them both. Ithaca's lineup on Saturday was

Marshall Adams as they put together a time of 6:53.7. The RIT second and third Varsity-8 boats finished second and third to Ithaca, with times of 6:55.7 and 7:24.2 respectively.
The Bombers will travel to Cherry Hill, N.J. next weekend where the first and second varsity boats will compete in the Knecht Cup Regatta on April 13-14.
