RESULTS
CORTLAND, N.Y. – The Ithaca College golf team finished six out of 15 teams at the Martin-Wallace Invitational hosted by Cortland at the Cortland Country Club on Sunday with a 313 (+25). The two-day event was trimmed to one because of persistent rain on Saturday that canceled the round.
Williams won on Sunday with 297 (+9), while NYU shot 302 and Amherst was a stroke back at 303. Hamilton finished fourth with 307 and Middlebury placed fifth with 309. A total of 84 golfers finished the round on Sunday.
Cristea Park was the low round of the day for IC as she shot a career-best 72 (E) to tie for second overall. Park carded a pair of birdies on two par 5s – the 4th and 11th – and she had 14 pars on the day.
Annika Michel and
Rheanna DeCrow tied for 25th with 79 (+7). Michel birdied the par 3 15th and DeCrow went one-under on the par 5 11th.
Helena Winterberg placed 25th with an 83 (+11) as she finished with 10 pars, including seven on the back nine.
Abby Bladen was 41st overall with 85 (+13) as she carded seven pars in the round.
Kerry Farrell tied for 67th with 97 (+25).
The Bombers wrap up their season on April 27-28 at the Liberty League Championships at Pine Haven Country Club in Albany.
