GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Ithaca College men's swimming & diving program once again marked an appearance in the NCAA Division III Championships as on day one of the 2024 competition the Bombers had all four of its swimmers in action.
In the preliminaries of the 50-yard freestyle, senior
James Collishaw posted a time of 20.30, which was good for 18
th place overall. Earlier this season at the Liberty League Championships, Collishaw registered a season-best time of 19.87, which was also a program record.
Collishaw was also in action as he anchored the 200-yard medley relay as he combined with
Alec Kutsner,
Michael Paulos and
Matthew Mitros to produce a time of 1:29,73, which was good for 17
th place overall as they just missed out on qualifying for the evening's consolation final.
The Bombers will return to action on Thursday competing in the 200-yard freestyle relay and the 400-yard medley relay with the morning preliminaries once again beginning at 10 a.m.
