VIERA, Fla. – The Ithaca College golf team began its spring season in Florida on March 14 as the Bombers competed in a tri-match with Hamilton and Eastern Florida State at Duran Golf Course. The Bombers finished third with a +36, 324. Hamilton finished first with 303 and Eastern Florida State shot 309.

Rheanna DeCrow tie for first overall with a two-over 74. DeCrow was even par after the front nine with seven pars, a birdie on the par-4 fifth and a bogey on the sixth. She then went two-over on the back nine with a birdie on the par-4 14th and three bogeys.

IC's next four golfers all finished within six strokes of each other and placed 14th to 18th. Annika Michel tied for 14th with an 81 (+9), while Cristea Park was 16th at 84 (+12) and Helena Winterberg was 17th with an 85 (+13) and Abby Bladen placed 18th with an 87 (+15).

Michel was nine-over after the front nine but regrouped on the back to start off with back-to-back birdies on the 10th and 11th. She then parred four straight before two bogeys on the final three holes to come in with 36.

Park carded one birdie on the day, a three on the par-4 third. Winterberg fired a birdie on the par-5 10th and Bladen shot 10 pars in the round.

Kelly Farrell golfed as an individual and shot 94 (+22). Farrell birdied the par-5 ninth hole.

The Bombers are off until April 5-6 at the Drew University Invitational in Flanders, N.J.
