ITHACA, N.Y. - The Ithaca College men's track & field team welcomed 10 different schools to Glazer Arena over the weekend, February 3-4, to compete in the annual Bomber Invitational. Ithaca produced three first place finishes in the meet.
Brendan Sheehan won the pole vault with a clearance of 4.90 meters (16' .75").
Jonathan Wolf clocked a time of 17:08.77 in the 5000-meter run to take third in the event.
Ithaca's 4x400-meter relay team of
Carter Rothwell,
George Nilson,
Adam Mocho and
Joseph Napolitano finished fifth with a time of 3:35.90.
Tyrell Penalba cleared 1.72 meters (5' 7.75") in the high jump to secure fifth place, while
Matthew Weil was seventh in the pole vault at 4.00 meters (13' 1.5").
Ben Buffone posted a time of 4:28.12 in the mile to finish seventh overall, while
Trevor Dix and
Patrick Bierach went 7-8 in the 3000-meter run with times of 9:14.16 and 9:14.52.
Matt Lokshin was eighth overall in the heptathlon with 3925 points.
IC will compete in two meets next weekend as the Bombers head to Boston and will host a meet on February 10.
